Shoshone Falls Arch

I've been to Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls, Idaho several times, but I did not know about the Shoshone Falls Arch until my most recent visit in August 2025 when I just happened to see it.  

I submitted its location to Google Maps and this is where it appears in comparison with Shoshone Falls and with the Shoshone Falls viewpoint.  To find the arch, simply walk to the left edge of the viewpoint fence and continue following it as if you're going to admire the other waterfall in the vicinity.  This is near where the restrooms are.

You can't access the arch from above because there is a fence blocking it, but I think if you were on the water level in a canoe or kayak you could at least admire the arch, if not climb under it.  It will require some more exploring the next time I'm in the area.

At Shoshone Falls there is a photo of a man standing on Shoshone Arch, back before there were trees and fence blocking the view of the arch.  I wish I could have seen it back then!
