Druid Arch

In 2010, my sister-in-law Natalie and I hiked Elephant Canyon to Druid Arch.  There were a few parts of the hike that were scary for heights, but I made it despite my fear of heights.  You can't get under the arch or even very close to it.  But we sat and ate lunch with a specular view of the arch and its surroundings.  It is an 11 mile round trip hike.  Druid Arch is 150 feet high -- more than 3 times taller than Delicate Arch!  You have to follow cairns to stay on the trail, and there are some parts that you have to scramble up rocks.  When you near the end of the trail and round the corner, then the majestic Druid Arch comes into view!
