North Window

North Window, Arches National Park, Moab, 2023

The North Window is the arch that I think is the ultimate picture frame for a large family photo -- at a family reunion.  And we took one there at our Call Family Reunion in 2018!  During tourist season it's hard to get a parking spot in the Windows Section of Arches National Park, to even be able to walk over to this arch.  I prefer to visit in off-season and it's very pleasant and not crowded.  It's a very short walk from the parking lot to see North Window, South Window, and Turret Arch, and then head across the way to see Double Arch as well.  If you hike out behind them, you can see "The Spectacles" -- North and South Windows together.  Some photos of those are at the bottom of this post.  Other nearby arches include Seagull Arch and Biceps Arch, and if you take the primitive trail and venture off trail a bit you can find Little Duck Window, Christmas Tree Arch, and Ribbon Arch.
