Mill Creek Arch, Moab

I have been to Mill Creek Arch a few times without noticing it was there!  The most recent time I visited was in November of 2023 and I just happened to look up and see it there!  Drive south through Moab until you get to the road for Ken's Lake.  Drive past the lake and continue on Mill Creek Road to the "cave house."  You'll have to drive through Mill Creek to get there, but our suburban handled it just fine.  I read online about Mill Creek Arch - a guy who had figured out a way to climb into it, but it sounds like it's far too dangerous for me to ever try it!  My fear of heights would keep me from ever making it up there.  But it's fun to see it on the ground, and also fun to take a look inside the cave house below it.  Years ago when we lived in Moab (from 1998-2000) we heard rumors that when Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was filmed in Arches National Park, they also filmed part of it here where the cave house is.  I no longer believe this to be true, however, because everything I've found online states that those scenes were filmed in Petra, Jordan.  Still, the cave house is pretty enticing and I haven't been able to discover its origin or anything about it beyond rumors.
